Local Finance’ business language is English and all customers will be provided with documentation, per standard, in the English language.
Local Finance’ pre-agreement statement and quotation will be translated and will be made available on request, as supplemental, in Afrikaans, Tswana, Sotho, Zulu or Xhosa.
Customers will in all cases be provided with English documentation, together with the requested supplemental document.
The credit agreement will be available in English for final signature.
A translated version of the document will be made available on request by the customer for the perusal of all information in Afrikaans, Tswana, Sotho, Zulu or Xhosa.
Enforcement notices will be available in English as the official legislative document with either the Afrikaans, Tswana, Sotho, Zulu or Xhosa translations on the back of the enforcement notice. These will then be submitted to the legal process.
The Branch staff effectively communicate in English and will have the capability of communicating in Afrikaans, Tswana, Sotho, Zulu or Xhosa – depending on the specific needs of the customer.
Local Finance will continually assess the needs and preferences of the customers and will aim to accommodate customers in as many languages as practical and prescribed.
